Growing up in a family of musicians; songwriting, performance, and audio production, played an important part of Olivia Joy’s life.  Although gifted as a singer and songwriter, Olivia initially pursued her passion for horses and rodeo. At the age of 8, she began competing as a barrel racer.  She qualified for Jr High School National Finals Rodeo in 8th grade, and was a 2-time qualifier for the National High School Finals Rodeo. After high school, her dream to live in the Lonestar State was realized, when she moved to Texas to attend Weatherford College. She then transferred to Tarleton State University in Stephenville, and competed on the rodeo team. In 2023, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in agri-business and now makes her home in Granbury, TX. During her time at TSU, the passion to pursue music and songwriting became her focus.

 

Olivia strives for excellence in her vocal skills and stage presence. Currently she is booking and performing with a full band and as an acoustic duo/trio. Highlighting 2024 was the opportunity to perform at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and for Cowboy Christmas, sponsored by the Cowboy Lifestyle Network.  In addition, she sang the National Anthem for various team roping events during the opening week of the National Finals Rodeo.  For 2025, her new single, "He's A Cowboy", debuts March 28. In addition to her Texas schedule, she will be announcing upcoming dates in California, and various other states.   

 

Although, she is a country artist, she is able to masterfully blend elements of blues, rock and pop to engage a diverse audience.  Whether it’s Dolly, Tyler Childers, Hall & Oates, Amy Winehouse or favorite country standards, she makes the crowd come alive.  The same drive and passion she demonstrated for barrel racing, fuels her love of music and performing.  This humble cowgirl is the real deal, and puts her heart and soul into every performance.  Olivia Joy is an energetic and talented artist that you can rely on to deliver an unforgettable experience.  We are looking forward to hearing from you!
